Wax on, wax off... or is it scrub the floor?

Our floors are marble, which is quite lovely. However, I have noticed that we all have jiffy feet. It must be from the floors! So while I was shopping, Wally spent time scrubbing the bottom level floor, changing the color from a dull brown to a nice warm brown. I worked on the stairs, and then tackeled the second level...


Before picture. I should explain the color. They use insect coils here, a pesticide that you burn. The ash goes into the air and releases the pesticide. It also makes a terrible mess. There was just a recall on some of the coils, they contained agent orange!

    i got a click from your webpage and came over to check it out. i see you found the o'sullivans too. don't you love them?
    if you have any questions about taiwan or anything, let me know. your house is beautiful and pretty western looking actually. a lot of people wear plastic flipflops inside their houses.

    tea shop scavenger hunt:
    coco (orange logo, menu in english that you have to ask for). they have the beeest lemon, mango and passionfruit smoothies.
    cafe 85 (it's everywhere. lots of coffee stuff. they have a seasonal peach smoothie right now that has the weirdest peach bubbles on top. menu in english).
    ching xin (green with a red smiling heart logo. menu all in chinese but if you can say loo cha [green tea], you're good to go).
